This morning everyone went our separate ways. Patricia Baxter and I traveled back to Austin together. Before leaving Seguin, she needed to feed her Lazy Daze, Mzz.B-Haven, so we stopped at Wal-Mart. I wanted to feed Daisy in Austin, so I just waited nearby for Patricia to finish. Then we had lunch at a Ci-Ci’s Pizza restaurant adjacent to the Wal-Mart parking lot. It was good and the staff were very friendly.
Patricia has sold her house and is now a full-time RVer. She lives at Oak Forest RV Park on Canoga Avenue in northeast Austin. Since I was able to get only three days this week at Pecan Grove RV Park, I called Oak Forest to see if they had any monthly sites available. Alas, the park is full. The man told me to call back around the end of October or first of November to check on availability. I’ve printed a list of all the RV parks within 20 miles of Austin. If nothing opens up at Pecan Grove by Wednesday morning, I’ll have to start calling around for a place to stay.
After I had gotten settled into my site, I did some house-cleaning. A lot of dirt had been tracked in during the campout. After dinner I opened and sorted my mail. Not as much had accumulated as I had expected over the six weeks since I last had it forwarded. It didn’t take very long to go through it all.
