We are in Clinton, Oklahoma after two busy days of travel. It took us way longer to pack up to go this time, after being in the same place for months. Once we finally got ready to roll, I followed behind Jerry in the car while he filled up the propane tank and then filled the gas tank. He was afraid the gas station was not large enough for the car to be towed at the station. I followed him to the Dollar General parking lot where he finally got the car hooked up. :-)
We drove about 110 miles before we made another stop at Colaw RV Parts and picked up a new tri-fold sofa bed. They have really good prices, it was a brand new one made by Flexsteel that perfectly matches our other furniture. We were very pleased to find it. After the sofa was installed, we were already exhausted, so we stopped in about 40 more miles and boon-docked in Miami, Oklahoma. We didn’t even put the jacks down, we slept and left early the next morning crossing Oklahoma for the next 300 miles. We stopped in the town of Clinton where they advertised great Wi-Fi that was actually non-existent. Boy am I missing my Sprint Air Card. We stopped the service when we went to Europe for six months. I am hoping for better Wi-Fi at the next stop. We will be making our way to Texas in the morning. Check back later for more from somewhere in Texas.
