his morning it was still raining so I slept later than usual. It had stopped raining by noon, though.
After lunch I called David Insirillo, The MacGuy, to see if he could work on my Apple computer this afternoon. He was available, so I hightailed it over there. He was able to upgrade the operating system to OS X 10.4.11 and to install the Firefox browser. He also installed a newer version of iPhoto and AppleWorks. He charged $150 for the job.
While David was working on my computer, I ran a few errands. First, I went to three jewelry stores to get batteries installed on a couple of watches. I discovered, to my dismay, that my Bulova watch will have to be sent to Bulova for repairs because it is so old that they didn’t have parts for it. I probably will not have it repaired since I have another watch.
After that, I decided to get a haircut. My last one just wasn’t a very good one, so my hair hasn’t been behaving very well lately. The stylist today did a good job.
