Sailboat on Lake Ontario

50 Point Sunset

We had an easy border crossing back into Canada and followed the QEW to route 401 and arrived at 50 Point Conservation Area. The park is between St. Catherine’s and Hamilton. We have a wide open full-hookup site and the park is very nice.

Sue is gradually improving and becoming more ambulatory. That made it possible to visit the beach on Lake Ontario a couple of times. There is also a nice 2-mile long fine gravel path that Annie and I took advantage of. Part of the trail circles a small lake in the middle of the park. The weather for both days has been outstanding.

We would be happy to spend more time here, but we have reservations starting tomorrow at Woodland Park at Sauble Beach on Lake Huron.
