|The entire band of happy misfits gathered at the assigned lounge, by 7:20 AM on Saturday, the day for disembarking the ship.
We had all opted to carry our own luggage and get headed toward home earlier that way.
Soon we were wending our way back and forth as the line of passengers weaved their way toward the immigration and customs officials. The passports and customs forms were checked, and we headed toward our waiting cars in the parking lot across from the terminal.
Bob & Janet, with Jesse & Ginger, followed Marilyn & I for awhile, then took the lead, and then allowed Marilyn & I to pass them when they stopped for ice cream.
We never saw our friends, Mike & Marian or Chuck & Coletta, once we cleared customs.
Marilyn & I arrived home at 1:50 PM, only six hours and ten minutes after leaving our ship.
That RV sure looked good to us!
We busied ourselves getting unpacked, then Marilyn began doing laundry while I carried the suitcases out to store in the truck.
Heinz walked over to invite us to Happy Hour, so we walked across the street to sit for awhile with our friends, Heinz & Irene, and Ron & Verna.
A bit earlier, as I took the suitcases out, I noticed Tom & Berni waving, so I walked over to visit with these good friends for a few minutes.
Marilyn & I went to bed pretty early, basking in the comfort of our own bed!
Life is Good!
