After sailing 925 nautical miles from Houston, Texas, to the Honduran Island of Roatan, we docked early on Tuesday morning.

The entire group of friends had decided to take a small boat to a private beach for the day.

That beach was a paradise, except for the “no-see’ems”.

Those nasty little critters chewed on us most of the day.

I have to say that the view of the ocean with palm trees waving in the breeze, and the sound of the water lapping on the beach totally mesmerized us, and it was a fabulous day.

We were treated to a tasty lunch before returning to the boat for a ride back around to the ship.

There was quite a variety of animals like crocs, monkeys, sea lions, a variety of birds, etc.

It was a wonderful day spent in the company of good friends.

Showers and clean clothing were high on the priority list once we were back on board the ship.

So another fine day passed into the memory banks and we looked forward to another adventure tomorrow.

Life is Good!
