Today I went with Inge Rider and her cousins, Herr und Frau Manfred Wuawra, to the midday music program at the Blanton Museum of Art. The program was presented by students of the Sarah and Ernest Butler Opera Center. It included arias from “Gianni Schicchi” and “Suor Angelica” by Puccini, “Little Women” by Adamo and “Die Zauberflöte” by Mozart. The students gave excellent performances. After the music we visited the special Warhol art exhibit and then had lunch at the Blanton Café. The weather was so pleasant that we sat outside to eat.
