|Well we have to say that Zion takes a backseat to Bryce in every way, except one. Reggi drove so I could take pictures. When you enter the park from the East you drive through some very beautiful canyons; however, about half way to the visitor's center, you drive through a mile long tunnel. Upon exiting the tunnel, little did we know, you then drive about 5 miles along very sharp switchbacks with no guard rails and steep drop-offs down to the bottom of the canyon, is by far the most scary trip we took, especially when you remember that Reggi was driving and she has an extreme fear of heights. While Zion is a beautiful park, it is not as spectacular as we expected and if we go back we will enter from the West side. Zion is really for hikers, since we are not hikers we did not hike to Angels Peak, an all day hike that is extremely strenuous and you have to traverse a ledge holding onto a chain. Our Nephew Matt and his wife Natalie did successfully make it to the top of Angels Peak.
