We got up early and got a ride to the bus station. We got on the bus heading north, not knowing where we would spend the night because of the washed-out bridge. It was not raining and by the time we got to the bridge, the water had subsided and we got across. It was a long day. Five hours on a school bus.
We are now in the city of Belmopan, the capital of Belize. With a population of only about 20,000, Belmopan is one of the smallest captial city in the world.
We are staying at a nice place called the Belmopan Bed and Breakfast.
