Yellowstone and Mount Rushmore Summer 2010 travel blog

We left the KOA campground right on time at 9am. We had a nice drive back to the Interstate and then headed west. The landscape is much the same as we have been here before. We have also posted pictures of the ranches and hay fields that cover both sides of the road. As we left Wyoming we were in the Crow Indian territory and soon passed the Battle of Little Big Horn. We remembered our visit there and pointed out the battlefield from the road. Soon we were pulling into the KOA campground here in Billings. I can not remember if I said this before but this is the first KOA campground. We parked in our spot and set up the trailer. We plan to make a fast get away in the morning so we did not even disconnect the truck.

Tomorrow we will head west again to Anaconda MT.

post more tomorrow
