Still Trying to Beat the Heat23 July - I picked up a few more caches today on a 10 a half mile walk to and through the downtown area of Yreka while acquiring some very interesting town history along the way. I hit the road for Canyonville at about 2 and stopped at a rest area, to take a break and dump my trash, and at the Medford Costco for gas, rest, and a big dog. I arrived in Canyonville at 9ish to a cool 70 degrees. I think I may have finally got ahead of the blasted heat, at least I hope so. I am parked at the RV friendly Seven Feathers Casino for the night.
