Left Robinson early in the morning with intent to drive to Welcome Minnesota. We thought it would be a very boring drive, but the last couple hours were a bit intense. In northern Iowa, we drove into a huge dust storm, followed by a massive thunderstorm. Winds were in excess of 70 mph, which is not good when driving an RV. We got through it, but it isn't something we would like to encounter again. This is the first time I have ever seen it rain "mud".

Left Welcome MN in the morning and stopped in Mitchell, South Dakota to see the Corn Palace. The Corn Palace is actually a very large theater that has been around since the 1920s. They decorate the exterior of building each year with different colored corn at an average cost of $130K per year. The interior is full of corn murals which are really neat.

Stopped by a Prehistoric Indian Village sight that is currently being excavated. Interesting that the foundation of the Indians existence was based on agriculture going back thousands of years.

Off to the Badlands in the morning.
