Our trip to Red Bay, AL from Savannah, TN was a short 52 miles and allowed us to arrive early enough to get one of the last sites available in the Service Center Campground
. The campground is located on an old airfield runway and is really nothing but a bunch of full hookup, 50 amp pull-throughs in what is basically a parking lot for 93 motor homes.
We watched football on Saturday and Sunday and then the fun began. Monday found us getting a new jack, the annual service for the Mothership and getting her radiator washed. Tuesday was also very busy with a very early (6:45) visit to Custom RV for new headlights, another waste tank monitor, and a couple of maintenance items. We then had an afternoon appointment to give the Mothership a wash and wax. So now she feels good on the inside and looks good on the outside, at least until tomorrow when we head for Troy, AL.
