Mooloolaba Beach

Greetings everybody! I just thought I would let you know what I've been up to these past two days.

Yesterday it was rainy and gloomy all day, but we didn't let the weather damper our spirits. As soon as we woke up we took a few laps in our pool and then the five of us went to go buy bikes. The newest addition to our little clan is Amber. Amber is from Fargo and is a student from Concordia. After getting our bikes we decided to take the bus to the plaza (mall). All I can say is this mall is huge! It's built over a river and the weirdest thing about it is that birds fly through there like they're nobodies business. I don't think it really cleared up all day. Later on in the evening everybody gathered in the pavilion and I met a few new arrivals.

Today was a whole different story. For the second day in a row I got a wake up call with only a few hours of sleep, only this time I woke up to the sun shining and an offer to bike to the beach. With that said, the five of us were soon hauling to the beach on our bikes. Let's just say that was interesting. It's about a half an hour bike ride each way to Mooloolaba where the beach is. The view was spectacular and the weather was perfect. Take a look at the picture I took. The ride home was a killer though because we were all tired from being on the beach and plus the wind was blowing super fast. I almost felt like I was back in Fargo for a minute. lol. Let's just say I am about to die right now. Operation Sun Burn is officially in full effect.

Agenda for the rest of the day: Have a good ole fashioned BBQ and talk Tristan into giving me a ride in his truck.
