Today's drive was from Wenatchee to the Tacoma area of Washington. Part of the route was down I90, and we passed a huge traffic backup (miles/hours long) caused by construction in the eastbound lanes. We had lunch at the summit of the Snoqualamie Pass.

Federal Way is the name of the town where you find Dash Point State Park. The park is very hilly and the sites are relatively small. We managed to get the motor home parked, although the "pull through" site can not be pulled through by a 35 foot motor home. Instead, we will have to back out. On the plus side, the park is quiet and has a half mile hike down to the beach on Puget Sound.

This would be a good park for Brendan and friends to use if they drive down to any more Seahawks games.
