Today’s attack on Merced is the official start of our invasion and about 20 foot solders showed up to participate. None of us were overly impressed with this march but figured things can only get better from here on out. We did find a shady street along a small waterway that we returned to after the march for R&R and to make battle plans for tomorrow's attack on Fort Fresno.
Joanna rode with me to Fresno and we sought out the Fashion Mall where we did another 3 miles or so of air-conditioned marching before heading to the Fresno Costco where Dan and Larry asked and received permission for us to make camp for the night.
Mission status for day 3 of 16: Completed 3rd of 21 scheduled attacks for a total of 29.5 miles on the ground and 226 convoy miles.
