Lake City, FL - Oaks 'n Pines RV Park - Site 49

Boy, was the first 100 miles fun on Tuesday. It only took two hours and 25 minutes to traverse that section through Atlanta. That's a little over 41 miles and hour average on an interstate! Why would anyone live and commute in that nightmare every day? Anyway we made it through Atlanta without getting run over and then on down to Lake City by a little past 3:00 pm.

We are staying at the Oaks 'n Pines RV Park beside I-10 just north of Lake City on US 441. It's a nice park with large, narrow full hookup pullthroughs with 50 amps, WiFi and cable. I wouldn't want to stay here for a long stay (the sites are too small) but for a couple of nights on the way, it works fine. We wanted to stop here on the way home so that we would have hookups allowing us to clean the Mothership a little and flush the tanks well before getting home and be close enough to home not to use them after flushing.

We will be home Thursday, October the first. It's now time to get fully engaged in Gator football. We missed the first three games we had tickets for and hope to miss no more.
