SATURDAY, JANUARY 13, 2007. CUZCO, PERU. What a beautiful, old city! Cuzco definitely is a wonderful place to explore with its cobblestone streets and old colonial architecture. The city definitely focuses on serving the international tourists as every other building in the city center caters to tourists--restaurants, bars, travel agencies, and shops. I will be here for a week as the earliest departure I could book for the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu is next Saturday. Fortunately, Cuzco has a relaxed vibe and numerous things to see and do. I coincidentally ran into three Israelis (Moran, Tal, and Omer) that I biked with down "The most dangerous road in the world" two weeks ago in Bolivia. Tomorrow we plan to visit a nearby town famous for its Sunday market.
