Set up in F-10 at Hannibal

We sure had a great time with our friends last evening, and it was difficult to leave the good company. It actually took several hugs to say good night. LOL

This morning we pulled out of Deer Creek RV Park a few minutes before 8:00 and made good time, crossing into Missouri about an hour later.

We made one stop for fuel, grabbed a sandwich at a Wendy‘s, and arrived at Mark Twain Cave Campground in Hannibal, MO at 1:20.

We set up the rig and had most of the outdoor items ready to go before long. We took showers and put on some clean clothing, then sat outdoors in the shade with a cold drink.

Our daughter, son-in-law, and two grandkids came in to see us and then we took them all out for dinner.

We had a nice visit and made plans to have the grandkids here with us most of the day tomorrow.

We plan to take them to see the new Disney movie called “Planes”.

If I remember correctly, our friends, Paul & Diane will be here tomorrow also, so we plan to spend some time with these good people before they have to leave.

I have to mention that my truck got a whopping 10.1 mpg towing the RV today.

Marilyn chose to drive her little car and follow behind me. She got 46.3 mpg with that amazing little Ford Fiesta. Of course she brags a bit and teases me about the fuel hog I am driving.

At least we are here in Hannibal for the next 5 weeks or so.

Life is Good!
