Anne Frank House - no photos allowed

Indonesian Dinner

5/10

We visited Anne Frank's house. Very moving. Otto, her father, survived the war and had her diary published. The horrors these 8 ordinary people were forced to endure because of racism and discrimination is indescribable. The whole experience is very sobering.

Tonight we tried Indonesian food for the 1st time. We sampled the Purnama Rijsttafel, which consisted of 17 small dishes served with rice, ranging from braised vegetables in coconut milk to skewered marinated lamb. We found the food to be different and very tasty.
