Thanks for a great evening guys! We needed to relax & unwind...

Last night we visited friends at their lovely home situated high up in the hills of Hot Springs. Larry & Brad assembled their new inversion table and afterward we enjoyed a wonderful dinner of coconut shrimp, salad & spaghetti squash with homemade pesto right out of their garden.

I especially enjoyed watching the turkey's flying up into the very tall trees to roost for the evening. I didn't realize that they spent the night in trees until last year! Such a city girl, LOL! Brad loves to tease me about thinking they found a small bush to hide under to escape predators...

After dinner we enjoyed an hours worth of wonderful music as Brad made a final decision on a tune to play at the Peabody Hale event in Crawford, Nebraska. It is being held today & last year he won first place in the single vocalist category. I know he'll do well again this year, good luck buddy!!!!

All too soon it was time to head back to Custer. We arrived there safely about 12:30am & fortunately no deer, elk or bison decided to jump out in front of us along the way. Many thanks to Brad & Bonnie for a lovely time, we needed that!!!
