Twenty-nine days and 5012 miles later we landed in our driveway. Although I didn't get to drive the whole distance I did log 4100 miles. Prudy took over the driving out of El Reno, OK and safely got us home logging in 912 miles! Way to go, Prudy! Now all we have to do is get you licensed to drive the Can-Am before our next road trip.
I have a chiropractor appointment first thing in the morning to see if they can work out that devilish pain in my neck (not you, sweetheart) so I (we) can get back to normal operations.
When we left here we had green leaves on our two trees and just the foundation of a new house being built across the street. When we pulled into the driveway all of the leaves on the trees were gone and a whole new, 1-story house was standing across the way. All of our potted plants managed to survive along with all of the other plants so that was a relief.
In about two weeks I have to make another trip, this one to Prescott Valley, AZ to help my brother John get his new house in order. After that I'm calling it quits on travel for a while.
We would like to thank everyone for putting us up (and putting up with us). We had a great time visiting with all of you. Our door is always open to any of you who want to come out and visit.
Stan & Prudy
P.S. We also got North Dakota and Rhode Island license plates for a total of 48 states!!!
