The Starting Point

The Attack Route

Being Water Boarded

Attack #20-Scattered in Santa Clara
30 May - It was an easy drive to the start point this morning from last night’s encampment and I found some nice shady parking on the street close to the battleground staging area. The march began at the very lovely and fragrantly pleasant San Jose Rose Garden and progressed through the historical residential neighborhood mixed with bungalows and stately mansions. The attack starting time for this march varied and some members of our cadre started and finished at different times. During the attack, I was water boarded by friendly forces to provide info concerning the annual Greek Festival but, I refused to provide any pertinent info concerning the event. After the march, I made my way to the festival and enjoyed several pieces of Baklava, a rich, sweet pastry, made of layers of paper-thin sheets of deep-fried phyllo dough (flaky stuff, kind-of like a croissant, only sweeter) filled with chopped nuts and sweetened with honey. Mmmm…..Mmmm…..Good!

This attack marked the end of the invasion for many of my fellow diehard foot solders, as they headed off for home after today’s infiltration. Thanks to all, especially my fellow HOMIES, for your loyal service and comradely. I bid you all a fond farewell and a safe journey home.

I returned to the Milpitas Walmart Encampment for the night.

Mission Status for day 15 of 16: Completed 20th of 21 scheduled attacks for a total of 165.5 miles on the ground and 1040 convoy miles.
