After leaving Stratford, we drove across Ontario to Shalamar Lake RV park which is very close to Niagara Falls. We drove into the Falls area and had a really great time looking at the falls

The day was grey but we could still be impressed with the power of the falls.

We thought about taking the Cave of the Winds tour, but the walking was going to be a problem, so we enjoyed the falls from the side.

We played a few slot machines and had a lot of fun with the penny slots.
We also discovered that the whole area around Niagara is wine country and there are wineries all over. While driving around looking for a grocery store, we found the city of Niagara On the Lake which is gorgeous, but it was our last day and we didn't have time to explore, so we decided to come back through this way when we leave Rochester and maybe spend some more time in Toronto.
We met some really nice people at Shalamar Lake. Next to us was a Dad and his two daughters camping in a pop-up. We had a nice evening talking to them. They live in Mississauga and told about a good place to stay close to Toronto. We exchanged email addresses and phone numbers and it's a good thing we did. We were both leaving the same day, and they got away before we did. As we were pulling away, Jeff noticed that one of the girls had left her swim suit and towel hanging in the tree, so we got it to return when we come back through.
