There were snow showers when we awoke, and after drinking a pot of coffee, we decided to take a drive and explore. We headed up to Gros Ventre, but the fog was rather dense, so we decided to proceed back to town for breakfast at Bubbas.
Now fortified, we journeyed to Schwabacher’s Landing, where, if the clouds parted, we might have some great views – ugh – the clouds and fog were just as dense, BUT we did get a decent snow/trees photo. Since we were enjoying the scenery, we decided to make the entire loop, including Jenny Lake, where we found the picnic tables covered with snow, just like they were when we arrived in May.
Back home, we prepared ham and beans for tonight, then cornbread. We delivered dinner to Natalie, then came home to wait for Bill, who is joining us tonight. He arrived and we had a great evening together, finished off with the cherry pie that Bill brought.
