|Today was a normal day of driving. I covered about 170 miles up and down the Appalachian or Pocono Mountains. Going up the one side of the hill sucked up gas and the down side of the hill was a matter of controlling the RV at speeds in excess of the speed limit. Then another mile or two there would be another hill to climb and so on. The RV park that I am staying at tonight is about 15 miles off of the interstate and deep in the woods. Large oaks and smaller maple trees. Everyone staying in this park seems to be convinced that it is necessary to start a fire that they sit in front of and get smoked. I did see a couple of chipmunks. This wooded area has a lot of the little creatures. I was warned that I might see a bear. There also seems to be a lot of forest animals in the woods around the park. Tomorrow I will be in New York state. That drive is about 200 miles. Then on Tuesday I will head south to East Lyme, Connecticut where I will stay for the month of July.
