This morning I attended an open house at the newly-renovated WellMed Senior Center. The newest doctor, Deborah Melendez, was being introduced and there were prizes, food and music by a saxophonist and guitarist. Representatives of all the insurance companies, which WellMed accepts, were there to help with enrollment and other issues. I was told that the plan I currently have is the best, so I don’t have to do anything.
Carolyn Nottleson is spending a few days in Pecan Grove. She went with me to the WellMed open house.
Tonight my church community group had our Christmas potluck dinner at the home of Dan and Martha Boswell. Their house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The meal was delicious, as usual. I was very frustrated with my Olympus camera; it would turn on, then make a high-pitched beep and turn off. I tried rebooting it, to no avail. The camera gremlins are evidently hard at work because this is the second camera that has failed.
