We drove to Chokoloskee Island to visit the Smallwood Store. The store was once a trading post. We looked around the museum which has many interesting items about the history of the area. Our next stop was Everglades City for a grouper sandwich at Camelia Street Cafe. We enjoyed watching the air boats go by on the water as we ate. We got some locally caught stone crab claws at Grimm's Seafood for dinner. On the way back to the campground we stopped at the Clyde Butcher Gallery to see his amazing black and white photographs. For you photographers out there he uses a large format film camera and the photographs are stunning. Outside the gallery we enjoyed watching a great egret in the pond.

The stone crab claws were to die for!!!
