|Last day of 2010.
This is my last day at this location, as I will be moving into Dickinson tomorrow, so took a few shots of the area before leaving. This time of year apparently doesn't see much tourist traffic, but based on the facilities and amenities along the river, I imagine this place is booming in the height of the tourist and fishing season. I was glad to be here now - other than the cold weather!
As this will be the last entry for 2010, this has been a year of major events and challenges - births, deaths, and everything in between. Can't remember whether I said this anywhere else, but my niece Kristin gave birth to Luke a day or two (sorry, can't remember the specifics at this moment) after Melinda's passing, and the attending nurse at the hospital when Lily was born was named Melinda. Something tells me Melinda is still keeping an eye on things! We all will miss her.
I am looking forward to 2011 with mixed emotions, but mostly with great anticipation of what lies ahead. I've had the good fortune of having good friends and family accompany me on this journey thus far - either by way of personal contacts or in spirit, all of which I have greatly appreciated.
Life treats us all differently, and we all treat life differently. I intend to move positively towards the future, and I trust all who read this will do the same.
May you all have good fortune (emotionally, spiritually, or otherwise) in 2011.
