Today dawned very mild but the temperature dropped about 40 degrees or so around 2:00 when the predicted cold front arrived. I took a jacket with me when I went out.
I had a very nice Thanksgiving dinner and visit with Inge Rider, her husband Milton, their son and two of their son's friends. What a wonderful dinner we had! There was squash and apple soup, ham, turkey, green salad with homemade dressing, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans with toasted almonds, corn on the cob, squash, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce and two desserts. Phew! I told Inge that she really should have prepared a few more dishes to keep us from going hungry. :>)
