Today I returned to Austin for a few days. None of the RV parks I called have any monthly sites available. I was able to get six days in Pecan Grove RV Park, which was at least enough for me to take care of some business, including my dental checkup.
After I had gotten settled into my space at Pecan Grove, I went over to Mobile Manor RV Park to pick up my mail and to visit with some of my former neighbors. Randy and Linda Rosens, the couple who bought my HitchHiker, were celebrating their first anniversary with the HitchHiker and were hosting an "Open Rig". I saw quite a few of the neighbors at the party and met some of the new residents of the park. I had a lot of fun chatting with my friends and enjoying all the wonderful goodies.
When I returned to Pecan Grove, I visited with Val for a while. We played a couple of Scrabble games on her computer, which was a lot of fun. That's the first time I had done it. Each of us won a game.
