Headed south and west...Oct 15, 2006

Just a few notes before we shut down for a few days. Last Sunday, Oct 8, we met Jim and Jo Ellen Gass (Topfuel) in Dodge City and brought them home with us for a visit. It has been a fun week. Now we are both getting ready to head out. Jim and Jo will be taking highway 50 west through Colorado and then north to visit family in Salt Lake City. Sure hope they have good traveling weather.
We are heading south to spend a few days with friends in Tijeras, NM (near Albuquerque) and then on out west on I40, eventually ending up at the Grand Canyon. The weather reports look good and we should make the trip without too much cold or wet weather. We will post more with photos when we can set up our satellite.
There are rumors of a get together with Ken and Sandy, Garry and Jenny, Paula and Charlie. Hope it comes to pass.
