When Anne was setting up our France itinerary, she had tried to book a hotel in Vaison La Romaine but there was nothing available. We are so glad! Vaison La Romaine is another cramped city and the hotel would have been on the side of a hill with narrow streets - not conducive to driving our car, AND parking. We walked around the busy streets and up to the “Old Town” where we had lunch at “Creperie” with a great view of the surrounding area. After a stop for gasoline at a grocery store, and learning how to do that without a chip-and-pin credit card as we Americans don’t see to have, we headed back to Seguret where we spent a relaxing afternoon. We headed back to “Le Mesclun” for dinner and were rewarded with both an artistic presentation and wonderful tastes on the delightful outdoor patio as we watched the sun set over the valley below.
