Padre Island National Seashores

We traveled to the Padre Island National Seashore, the longest stretch of undeveloped barrier island in the world. The park service allows you to drive on the beach and you can drive approximately 60 miles. It was sad to see how much trash is washed up on these splendid beaches. There was an abundance of wading birds. We plan on spending some time camping along these beaches after we leave Port Aransas.
