At one of Oregon's beautiful beaches

We have made it to our three week destination in Ninilchik, on the Kenai Peninsula, Alaska and it is fantastic. You will hear much more about it in future episodes, in the meantime, back to catching up while we have wifi. Thanks, Mike, for nicely doing the last episode. He is the only one with broadband as Verizon tried to update us while we were in Canada and they can't undo it until we get back to the lower forty-eight. We have fantastic phone signals in Alaska, anyway.

Well, we said goodbye to wonderfully diverse California, and headed to South Jetty TTN in Florence, Oregon. The Pacific coastline is awesome and we stopped many times to check out the views and the beaches. We certainly have made good use of our Thousand Trails memberships and have found all their parks to be charming in their own unique ways, this one being no exception.

The town of Florence was real nice and we enjoyed some good seafood there. We took daytrips to various beaches and climbed up to beautiful Hecta Head Lighthouse where the views were incredible. We also searched for agates and "pretty stones" on some of the beaches. Jane and I our getting some pretty hefty rock collections.
