We left Williams about 11:30 am on our way to a couple of sites east of Flagstaff. When we tried to go north to the Sunset Crater National Monument and the Wupatki National Monuments, the highway was closed by construction. There was a detour, but when we followed it, we ended up headed south toward Prescott. We finally gave up and just got back on the highway headed east. We decided to make an early day of it and pulled into Norma's RV Park in Joseph City about 2pm. We had stayed here on our way out and liked the people and the area. Alas, it was Halloween! We had trick or treaters!! What fun!!
We spent the night and watched our Tuesday evening regular TV shows, did some computer work and hit the bed pretty early. On Wednesday morning, we dumped all the tanks and refilled our fresh water since we knew we would be boondocking for the next few days. And we were on our way once more.
