We departed the Thousand Trails at Oceana about 9:30 a.m. for 105 miles through hill and dale to Port Orchard for a visit to our friends home. Last year they installed a 30 amp power receptacle for us to park at the garage. We called them when we were about 20 minutes away and they were ready to receive us. Due to the narrowness of the driveway gate, Dave had to back down the street to a big parking then turn around and back up the street for another go at the entry. Success came but not without a couple bush rubs on the wide coach going through a narrow driveway. The rest of the week went great, with many glad hours of talking, catching up on the past, touring to the Naval Submarine Museum and walking through the quaint Norwegian town of Poulsbo.
Enjoy the pictures, we try hard to give you, the reader, a taste of the places we visit, without boring you to tears of "over-telling" a story. Our earnest effort is for you to maybe visit some of these places yourself.
This short visit is intended to give us a short respite and rest with good friendship and conversation. When we leave here we'll be on our way south, slowly.
