We are spending a few days at the Peppermill Resort in Reno. This is a belated birthday trip, we were too busy moving from one RV to the other during my real birthday on the 9th. This is one beautiful hotel, just what the doctor ordered. :-) We are staying in one of the Peppermill Reno's Spa Suites with a 390 square foot room that features a relaxing Jacuzzi tub and a sitting area for two. The views from our windows are amazing.
We especially love the huge videos all over the walls in the hotel. Joe Ness, who heads the resort’s Entertainment Electronics and Media Department, has led a team of Peppermill videographers to more than 30 countries to create “Windows of the World,” property-wide video art spanning 4,180 high-definition plasma screens in the resort. The crew uses state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that the resolution and clarity of detail in the images are on par with that of the human eye, and canvasses are flat LED screens instead of wooden frames so that you feel like you are actually there. We are looking forward to a few days of rest and relaxing in this incredible hotel, it feels like we are back in Italy. Check back later for more from Reno.
