Ginny's Adventures 2017 travel blog

After leaving Versailles at around 11 AM on the 27th, I traveled down I-75 doing about 61 mph whenever I could. I ran into construction, of course, but nothing over half an hour.

The first night, I stayed in a Flying J parking lot just past downtown Knoxville, TN. The second night, I stayed at a campground in Unadilla, GA which is south of Perry. Then I traveled into Florida and stayed at the Escapees park in Bushnell. I got there in time for their ice cream social and then went to the nearby National Cemetery to find 4 letterboxes. Dinner came from the town's KFC.

When I unhooked to leave, I found most of my mudflap laying on the ground! Glad it didn't fall off while I was on the road because it would have completely ripped off and flew behind me. That could have damaged my car or hit another car or caused an accident! I asked a very nice guy to take out the last screw and we laid the mudflap on the floor inside the motor home.

A few hours later, I was at Horner's RV repair as scheduled for service and a couple of tweaks (mudflap reinstall added!). I stayed over night at June & Bena's house and got my RV this afternoon. In the morning, I went to Port Charlotte with Bo to attend the season's first mountain dulcimer jam. My RV is in good shape and the vehicle aspect is just fine. Life is good!
