Million $ Falls (about 4 foot fall!)

Kluane National Park

Rain Clouds building

July 14th

Continuing on this beautiful remote stretch of road we stop at almost every pull out to read about the history of the road. The entrance to Kluane National Park is almost as soon as we start driving and Haines Junction is only an hour and a half away where they have an amazing, information, national park and first nation’s interpretive centre. We are also back into free Wi-Fi which is just not available in Alaska where even the RV Parks charge you by the minute. There is also one of the best equipped small grocery stores we have found yet. Our stop tonight is at the Pine Lake Campground just outside of Haines Junction. It is very hot and humid and there are thunderclouds all around us but no rain until late in the night. It is still raining in the morning when we get up but that won’t stop us from doing some short hikes. We have travelled almost 4,500 KMS to date!
