Our trip from Coeur d'Alene, ID to Garrison, MT covered 241 miles which was about 35 miles farther than planned as the park we had made reservations in had no satellite friendly site open! Other than that the trip would have been a very pretty drive through the mountains of Idaho and Montana if the weather had cooperated more. We had a light drizzle the whole trip so the pictures are not as good as they could have been without the rain. It is beautiful country going from the forested mountains in the north to rolling plains in the SW of Montana. We did go through two passes, the Fourth of July Pass in Idaho just outside Coeur d'Alene and the Lookout Pass on the Idaho/Montana border. The latter was the longest climb and all of it under construction. The roads were much better than our last trip through this part of the country in 2011.

We are staying at the Riverfront RV Park which is an older but very nice park right on the Little Blackfoot River on the outskirts of town. We have a 50 amp, full hookup, pull-through which is wider than usual and very long so we could keep Libby attached as we rest here for a couple of nights and do a whole lot of nothing. Doris did get a few loads of laundry done so we are ready for a few more weeks now!!

We head for Livingston, MT tomorrow from which we will hit the north side of Yellowstone and then spend the weekend watching football.
