Our trip home began with thunder and rain. A good way to get the salt washed off the kayaks and our vehicles. As we approached Georgia, the rain stopped and we had a wonderful 2 nights at Fort McAllister where we recovered from our 400+ mile trip across the Florida border. The weather was turning cooler and shorts were packed away until summer. Our next 400+ mlie day came too soon and we crossed into North Carolina after reading hundreds of "Pedro Sez" signs. A night in a KOA and we headed out on our second-last leg to Pennsylvania.
