The big event today was watching and filming Har's T-38 formation solo. He said it was not as good as he had hoped but looked great in our movies!! It was pretty exciting for all of us...especially his dad who knew "what it felt like"! We had lunch and returned just in time to see his landing too. Later he set up a T-38 simulator which was fun for all of us. Har and Harry Sr demonstrated some really cool stuff and the rest of us took turns flying too. We could fly around, do loops and aileron (sideways) rolls, but Mom, Dad, or I could not get on the ground without crashing. I guess Har did not get his flying skills from me! We had Har over for dinner one more time to grill brats and a couple of his friends stopped in to say hi. It was one of his best friends from the Air Force Academy (Andrew Kim) who we saw a lot of when we visited Colorado during school. We also met Ian who we did not know before. TTFN Jackie
