We arrived in Benson, Arizona yesterday. We are staying at Cochise Terrace RV Park. It is beautiful. It is at the top of a hill 1 mile off Route 10. The view is beautiful. There are mountains all around. I am going to try to include some pictures of the view we have. Unfortunately, there is no way to capture what we are seeing. The camera can't capture the panoramic and magnificence. The weather during the day is very comfortable. A sweater is enough. It still gets pretty cool during the night, but at least it's above freezing so we don't have to pull our water hoses. The other thing Brad likes about this park is that we are allowed to wash the coach for a $5.00 fee. Needless to say the coach got a bath this morning. It was dirty after 6 weeks on the road and several times when we were moving it was raining. Today we went over to Kartchner Caverns. It's a cave that was discovered by two men in 1974. We didn't do the tour of the cave as we were afraid my knees would handle it but we spent quite awhile in the visitors center. There was a movie explaining the discovery of the caves and several pictures and interactive displays. We found it very interesting and informative. There was also quite a display on the bats and insects that inhabit the cave. Tomorrow we will do the last leg of the first part of this trip. We will move on to Tempe where we will stay until the first week in Feb. We are having dinner at my sisters tomorrow night and Sunday we've been invited to dinner with Jan and two other couples - three out of the four of them graduated with Jan from EHS so I know them also. We are looking forward to being around family since we miss our own. It's going to be a different Christmas for us not to have the bedlam of six little ones running around. We will miss them. Take care and the updates will probably be more sporadic while we are in Tempe. Fondly, Barb & Brad
