After a good night’s sleep we went into Baddeck, saw some nice houses and went to Alexander Graham Bell Museum where Guinness met Joel a 14 month boy from Montreal who had great fun with him and did not cry when Guinness kissed him and knocked him down. I learned a lot about Mr Bell and all the things he did here after leaving Washington DC where my Father met him when my Dad worked for The C & P Telephone Co. He loved his home called Beinn Bhreagh that he had built here, where he lived the last 37 years of his life and he created man carrying kites and airplanes. On the water he and young engineers produced the fastest boat in the world. The home is still owned by his descendents and while at the museum I was mistaken for his grandson. Another great day of our trip.
