This morning during my back therapy session, my chiropractor gave me some encouraging news. He said that, after next Wednesday, I can begin therapy at two-intervals instead of every week. Yea!!!
After that, I stopped in at Walmart to set up my Medicare Drug account. I also dropped off a bunch of old eyeglasses and sunglasses for the Lions Club.
My last stop was at OfficeMax to buy a new printer. I had become very unhappy with my old Canon (bought 2004) and HP 3210 (bought 2006) printers because their output quality was deteriorating. Since I will be printing Cen-Tex LoW newsletters every month, I need something more reliable. I bought an HP Officejet 6500. It has five functions: Copy, print, scan, fax and network. I don't need the last two functions but I like the other features. The ink for this machine is much less expensive than the ink for either of my two old printers. The icing on the cake was a special sale price. The sale ends Saturday.
Installing the new printer on my Dell Latitude was very easy but not so for my Apple. I could see it in the printer list but my test document didn't print. Time for a little troubleshooting!
I visited with Val for a little while this afternoon. She gave me some navy beans with ham -- enough for at least two meals. Yummy!
