We departed the Thousand Trails park Lynchburg about 9:30 this a.m. For the 146 mile drive thru Richmond up I-95 to Andrews AFB. We'll stay here as it is close to D.C. And other things we'll see. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the office staff who quickly signed us in and showed us to our site. We got setup quickly even in the 90 degree, 80% humidity, ugh! Our situation in the RV park is neat, we have a view of the 17th hole of the base golf course, where the President often golfs. Maybe while Myleah and I are gone sightseeing, Rebecca will be able to catch a glimpse of him. Since no pictures are allowed you'll have to take our word for it when it occurs.
Last week our fish, Bodacious Bob died of natural causes, old age and was laid to rest. don't know if or when we'll get another. Bob loved surfing USA in his fish tank, because of the motion of the trailer, while we drove down the road. He lived at least one year longer than expected.
You'll see a picture of Myleah and David work space, this is how we update the travel journal for you to read. Dave uses his IPad with a Bluetooth keyboard and Myleah uses the HP laptop, but we connect using the IPhone hotspot on Dave phone. Bingo ! It all gets thru the air waves and updated together with having to wait for one to finish...
Another note, while in Virginia we drove on several roads named for famous colonial people. There was Patrick Henry Hwy, John Tyler Hwy, Lee Hwy, James Madison Prkwy, and several others but you get the idea.
