Our "home" in Boomerville

The western view

The eastern view

Another day in paradise! It is raining and cold. At least - even the solar people are having to run their generators, so there will be no complaining about ours. Someone said this morning there are now 92 rigs here in Boomerville. We attended a GPS class this morning and learned a lot. Another attendee invited us to their RV later on to learn more about our mapping program. We have met a lot of really nice people.

Right now we are having warm soup for lunch. We may even have to break out the hot chocolate! Keep warm wherever you are. Will update more later on.

The rain continued to pour most of the day. About 4pm, we could see clearing to the south and it eventually got around to our site. There was a beautiful sight to the west -a great sunset, but not much color. And to the east - a beautiful rainbow over the mountains. A special ending to a dreary day.

We joined others for chili for dinner and visiting and spent the evening watching TV. The rain and cold has really brought out our aches and pains. But we have the "Pain Wizard" to take care of that. We slept warm and cozy again with our Wave 8 heater.

We are looking forward to this week here in Boomerville.
