Our trip from Seminole to Norman, OK was a short 57 miles along mostly good highways with us arriving at the fairgrounds about 11:00 a.m. The RV park is about 75% occupied so we were able to find a spot and register in short order. We have a 50 amp full hookup back-in spot in what is essentially a blacktop parking lot. The sites are a little tight but sufficient as a place to park when visiting relatives as we did. We have great Verizon and a fairly clear shot to the satellites through a leafless tree just behind the Mothership.
The week was spent visiting my aunt, cousin, her husband, son, daughter and their spouses along with my aunt's seven great-grandchildren - six under five years old, three under a year. It was quite a visit with lots of food (my cousin is a great cook), get togethers, and great reminiscing. As usual it all came to an end much too soon but we plan on staying another week when we return this way in October.
Tomorrow we head for Amarillo, TX for a two or three night stay and nothing currently planned while we are there.
