At 6:23 a.m. we were awakened by a call from my brother, Jaime, that Dad had had a heart attack and had passed away. We were ready to leave this morning for our next stop, Missoula, so we immediately took off heading for my brother Marc's in Southern Idaho, to pick him up and head to California.

We traveled down through Missoula, Montana and then Eastern Idaho, through the Salmon River Valley along the "Peaks to Craters Highway". We passed Arco, Idaho that is famous for being the first atomic powered city.

We arrived at Marc's about 5 p.m. and Larry slept a little before heading off again at midnight.
